On July 4th, 200 people from all over the country gathered in the city of Altanta, GA in order to be equipped and sent out in the power of the Holy Spirit to preach the gospel to the nations.
Among these 200 people, 52 of them are from my squad, and from those 52 people, seven of them are on my team.
Currently, on July 9th, we are sitting on a bus in the middle of Thailand headed for the city of Chaing Mai.
This is our first ministry location and none of us really know what to expect. Over the past few days, before leaving the country, we have been learning more about how to move in the power of the Spirit and trust him in directing our ministry.
We have been challenged not only to simply minister to people but also to listen to the Spirit of God and move according to how we feel he is speaking to each of us.
All of us have poured out our hearts to God and he has poured his Spirit into us to prepare us for the work he wants to do.
So now we are out on the field. We are on the cusp of entering into a completely foreign culture with no idea how God wants to or is going to use us.
My prayer is that we will be open for whatever God wants to do it our lives. I personally want to trust him in this time.
So we our first stop is in Chiang Mai, Thailand. We could be doing any sort of ministry ranging from going on to college campuses, reaching out to prostitutes, or ministering to impoverished peoples.
I am so excited to see how God uses us this month in people’s lives.
Please make an effort to pray for me and my team this week. Pray that we will listen well to the direction of the Holy Spirit and that God would impact the lives of the people we will be interacting with.
