I don’t know how to start other than by saing God is GREAT!

Seriously, I am just so honored and blessed to be writing this blog! I don’t even know how to explain His greatness, so I’m just going to give you a timeline….

Last Friday night: Posted the blog titled “I don’t want to call Asiana Airlines” explaining how I needed support to stay on the field. I needed $1,500 by the end of the month. My team had a 12 hour overnight prayer watch and I spent two hours praying over finances to come in and the rest of the team did the same.

Sunday: I did a partial fast during the day for finances to come in. Just before dinner time Sunday night and I felt led to check my support out. “ohhh boyy….Please Lord let it look good. Please oh please Jesus”

Through some very faithful and amazing supporters my support account was at $450!!!!! God provided $450 in just two days!! Wooo-hooo!!!

Monday: I did a full fast from food and from internet/iPhone. It probably wasn’t the wisest idea to fast from food on a day that I would spend the hot afternoon working manual labor on the land, but the Lord kept me healthy. I took time to pray and reflect on why I was here. I prayed confidently that my decision to stand firm on staying here to finish would not be construed due to financial stuff. I prayed for all my supporters and the supporters are yet to come. I was one hungry fella come 10 pm, but through the Holy Spirit I was able to make it through.

Tuesday: After I woke up and broke the fast with my bowl of cereal, I went back to my room and said a quick prayer before I checked my support account……

Current balance: $870

Double DOUBLE! My goodness gracious….. Thank you Lord! I looked over the long list of supporters and it ranged from “the usual suspects” to a gal serving alongside me here at SHE, to people I haven’t spoken to in a while, and the best part, people I don’t even know! I laid hands on my computer screen and prayed over each and every person for donating. The sacrifices they’ve made in their lives in order to help out my life and lives of those here in Thailand spoke wonders to my spirit. I was encouraged and extremely humbled by their kindness.

Wednesday: I felt led to check my support account again and overnight came in another $150 from a friend back home in MN! I had now just surpassed the $1,000 mark in just over a few days!!! Praise the Lord!!

I can’t even begin to explain how thankful I am of the support that has come in. I will tell you one thing though….I have heard so many great and humbling responses from “thank you” emails/messages I have sent out. A common response was “It’s ok, it’s not my money, it’s God’s money” That statement has really taught me a lot over the past year. I know when I was working and living “normal” life before the World Race other than giving to my church I didn’t really give much. The idea of giving to missionaries was a foreign concept to me back then. But NOW I know that every dollar counts for a missionary. Whether it’s $1 or $450 it ALL goes towards building the Kingdom.

I don’t know that God has in store for me after Thailand, but I’ve been praying into being able to find a job so that I can make the blessing full circle and be the SUPPORTER of missionaries. I’m praying it will be a well paying job, but even if it’s not, I’ll make it work. I spent the last year and a half living off support from generous givers, and so I know how special it is to receive a dollar here and there.

I’ve also heard responses that stated “I wanted to give more, but I have some other obligations” and one of my favorites, “I wanted to give you money, but I don’t have any so I just prayed for you.” I am humbled by their obedience to give to the Lord. My heart is just so full of excitement and love!

I still have $500 left to raise before the end of the month and then the rest of the outreach phase will be due when I leave which is also $500.

The ball is rolling downhill and the Lord’s momentum is in MY favor. I know the blessings will continue to pour in the from the Lord…..in Jesus Name!

Speaking of which…. As I was about to finish this blog, I got a message on Facbeook from a friend saying there is a check for $200 being mailed to my house to support my ministry here in Thailand. WHAT?! GOD…YOU ROCK!!

So make that $300 remaining to complete my lecture phase goal!!! Praise the lamb! I love how God works sometimes!

Dee jai mak mak!!!! J

My heart is full of thanks for all who have donated and are willing to donate. Adaj;akjdf;ad I’m just sooo excited right now!!!
I cannot wait to write that blog letting y’all know that I am FULLY funded! I feel it comin’ along soon!

$1,200 raised. $300 more to go before end of lecture phase. $500 before end of outreach in June. #leggo!!

Faith.

Blessings from Thailand,
PK
