I’m almost pretty certain the last time I did ministry on Bangla Road was 23 February 2011.
You all know the story of how much I miss ministering on Bangla. Hence the reason I’m currently in Thailand. A few days after I left Thailand for Malaysia the Lord pressed the faces and stories of the gals I met on Bangla heavily on my heart. That was over a year and a couple months ago. You can check out the aftermath blog here:
Tomorrow night. I finally get to go back.
When the Lord told me to “just wait” I was obedient and waited. I travelled to six other countries, spent four months at home, and three months of lecture phase in Thailand. I waited patiently as other teams would go out on Bangla and come back with stories and go on dates with girls they met. My flesh wanted to desperately go out there right away, but my spirit told me to WAIT. The Lord had a lot to teach me during lecture phase. I learned how to counsel effectively to broken spirits, minister in love, and strategically look after the lost and broken-just to name a few things. The Lord used the three months lecture phase to teach me things and add to my arsenal of ways to minister in LOVE. He equipped me with inner abilities within myself that I never knew I had. He used prophetic activities during class to speak TRUTH into myself so that I could speak TRUTH into others.

I will walk in confidence stomping my feet down Bangla. I walk in confidence knowing that the Lord has His purposes for me down that quarter mile road in Patong. I carry the greatest warfare weapon of all- LOVE. I have an endless supply and will use it on everyone I meet. My strength comes from the Lord and all the glory be unto Him.
I am also calling out my prayer warriors as I head into this season of outreach. I know the Lord’s armor is protecting me from all things that the enemy tries to throw at me as I walk down Bangla. Lust, temptation, bitterness, and anxiety will be deflected In Jesus’ name! I’m asking you to continually pray against all of those things and other things that might be thrown my way to catch me off guard.
Also, a BIG THANK you to everyone who helped me reach my support goal! I was able to reach my goal by the deadline! Thank you for all your prayers and support. Without your support and kindness I would not be writing this blog about finally being able to return to minister on Bangla Road! Praise the lamb!
