“God is there. Amidst the darkness and rule of evil spirits, He continues to use people like me to be part of His army. He’s called upon us to bring light to the darkness. I know He’s not done on Bangla Road.
Neither am I. “
As many of you know, my heart longs for the country of Thailand and the women and children who are at risk of sex trafficking. I had a lot of fun and had a great time ministering in Thailand and with the SHE (Self Help Empowerment) Foundation.
When we left Thailand for Malaysia I knew that the Lord would call me back to Thailand. And as I felt that calling I became distracted with how/when/where/who of getting back to Thailand. I became distracted from my team, my ministry, and my relationship with the Lord. Then as time went by and I continued to plan for Thailand, God had spoken to me and instructed me to “just chill” about the idea of Thailand. And that He would reveal to me and open the door when it was time for me to go. And as a good steward I listened and did as I instructed. I shelved the idea and allowed myself to focus on THE WORLD RACE.
Fast forward to August 9th, 2011.
I get an email and it reads.

You are invited to join us on our
Mission Training School
The Mission Training School is a 5 month training program for equipping
Christians with the knowledge and skills to pioneer or aid a new ministry that
caters to the needs of women and children at risk in developing nations.
The 3 month lecture phase is hosted by weekly experienced speakers which
will be held at the SHE Training Centre in Koh Siray, Phuket Thailand.
The 2 month internship phase is held at the SHE Outreach Centre in Kathu,
Phuket where you will be working to combat poverty, sex tourism and trafficking.
The Mission Training School starts January 9th to June 1st 2012.
School costs are $3000 and covers all food, housing and ministry expenses for
the 5 month duration.

Amazing God. Whoa.
Seriously? I was blown away! The Lord had returned one of my prayers and He opened up a way to return to do ministry in Thailand. I knew SHE had a program like this, but I had no idea when the dates were and what not. The Lord is SO faithful! He saw my passion for ministry in Thailand and He came through to open up a way. Oh my gosh…HE is so good!!
I sent in my application and had my references filled out. I prayed that God would continue to keep the door open. The MTS program only accepts 20 students per session so I was hoping there would still be a spot left for me. I was a little worried at how my family would react with me leaving again, especially my Mom, but they were super supportive in my decision! God is GOOD!
So….on September 14th, I had received an email from Sharon saying that my application checked out and my references were good and they would be sending my ACCEPTANCE letter shortly. Accepted! Accepted! Woo-hoo! Praise the LORD!
I was smiling ear to ear! I wanted to worship and give praise so I jumped in my car and found an excuse to drive somewhere! I shouted praise with the windows open and I didn’t have a care in the world. I just knew that God was on MY side and He is answering a desire of my heart.
Y’all…..I am so pumped to go back! My heart for the area is immeasurable. Not only do I get to return to Thailand and minister to those that need Jesus…I get to learn more about the living word of God and return to a community that will keep me accountable and help me grow. The lecture phase is really going to challenge and stretch me to think outside the box. It’s going to force me to dig deeper into God and seek Him out in ways I couldn’t do back home.
I’ll be blessed again with yummy Thai street food, impeccable beaches, wonderful people, and of course….that bloody bulldog at SHE center known as Mr. Winston. Ha.
I do have the fun task of support raising again. I had the honor of seeing God work miraculous ways in order to provide support for my World Race. I am still blown away by His goodness and the goodness of those who chose to support me in such a tremendous journey in my life. The way that you all have supported me has impacted me for the rest of my life. Because of all my supporters I was able to set captives free and deliver God’s message of LOVE to those who have never felt it. As much as the financial support helped the prayer support helped tremendously as well!! So today my dear friends I am asking again for your support. As you read the support needed is $3,000 to cover all costs for 5 months. I also need to raise an additional $1,500 for my round trip airfare (ouch!).
I am asking for you to kindly support me in continuing God’s will of sending placing me in Thailand to help minister to the women and children trapped in sex slavery/tourism. God has blessed me being able to speak the language enough to communicate with the people of Thailand. The language blessing was HUGE in getting to know the women in the bars. Their English isn’t the greatest, so once I told them they I could speak their language they were able to open up and not have to worry about speaking bad English. I got to hear their REAL stories of why/how they got to working in the bars. I got to hear the hurt in their voice and see the sadness in their eyes as their stories unfold. They need Jesus. They need Him FAST. Not only will I be able to show them the Love of the Lord, but I’ll be there to help aid them in learning English, learning how to make jewelry and other life skills so that they won’t have to sell their bodies anymore.

I would love to purchase airfare as soon as possible because the longer out, the lower the prices will be.
