Dear friends and family,
I wanted to share with you this incredible journey I’ll be embarking on this year. It’s called the world race gap year, through the organization Adventures in Missions. This is a nine month mission trip in which I will visit three different countries for a duration of three months in each country; Albania, the Philippines and South Africa.
One of the unique things about the World Race is that it’s not only a mission trip but also an intensive discipleship program designed to launch my generation into our specific kingdom calling. Through the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking, and bring the restorative hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
In the months leading up to this trip, I have a few requests. First and foremost, I ask that you be lifting up my team and I in prayer. Specifically, for protection while abroad, provision, boldness, peace and strength. Second, In order to go on this trip I need to raise a total of $13,805 by August. This money will cover all of the expenses while on the field. As I take this step of faith, I ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with me financially, in addition to supporting me through prayer.
The financial support needed for me to attend this mission trip can be processed through my blog (peytontallis.theworldrace.org) as either a one-time gift, or a monthly donation. For example, if 45 people pledge $60 a month, for 5 months. I will be 100% funded by August. In the same way, if you would like to give a one-time donation, $300 would be great. That being said, any gift is greatly appreciated. Keep in mind this is just a rough outline so you are better able to get a grasp on my financial needs. Adventures In Missions is a tax-exempt organization under IRS code 501(c)(3) and is a member of the ECFA. (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability). Due to IRS and ECFA regulations governing the administration of tax deductible donations given in support of a particular trip/program, support contributions given on behalf of an individual will be used to offset the costs of the trip/program you are involved in. All contributions are non-refundable regardless of the participant’s success in completing the program.
