We are done with our first month! Back in Manila. For our last days in Puerto Galera we treated ourselves to snorkeling/scuba diving in the beautiful sea and our host family took us up on a mountain so we could catch the view from high up. We had plans to hike a mountain in the wee morning to do some sunrise worship and camp out at the beach but unfortunately we had to cancel them due to rain 🙁 We were so blessed to have Pastor Al and his family take care of us this past month.

One down, ten to go. I like to thank everyone who has made this possible. I am grateful that God continually reminds me of the people He has placed in my life. It’s still unreal for me that I’m here and I can just remember it like it was yesterday when I signed up for the World Race.

In the next month we’re heading to a country that is full of brokenness. It is a place where 35,000 baby girls are aborted every day, where 80% of consumer electronics in the world are manufactured, where 20 of the 30 most polluted cities are situated, where a part of my heritage lies, and where the government has forbid God’s presence. But it has not been able to completely extinguish it. Right now it is only a tiny spark that is waiting to overtake the country from the ground up; turning into a conflagration that will sweep the nation. And the people will know that He is there God.
