Another 10 more days till the next stop. Again, time is
flying by like crazy. This month we are working with Team Quiet Storm and we
are staying at the house of an amazing family who has hosted 3 World Race teams
before us. In fact, the last group just left a week ago before we arrived. So
needless to say, they jumped right into building a relationship with us.
Alberto (dad) is an extremely funny, extroverted guy who is more childlike than
his own children. The house is super nice, and they went all out of their way
to get air mattresses for us so we can each have our own bed. Their mission is
to serve missionaries, with the vision that their home would always be hosting
missionaries. It is a real blessing to be here.

We are working at a mega church which has 3000 members and
the church has branches all over the world. We are exposed to a lot of
different ministries. I use the word ‘expose’ because every week is a different
ministry. Many of us are struggling because unlike previous months, there is no
‘relational’ ministry at all, we almost never get to see the people we had
ministered to again. Ministries that we have been involved in are prison
ministry, children’s ministry, street ministry, school ministry, radio
ministry, drug and rehab center ministry, and who knows what else yet.

But God is faithful. Even though I feel like I’m not
learning much from ministry, God has grown and changed me so much this month. Being
with Team Quiet Storm has been really good. There is so much to learn from
them.

This is just a quick intro to this month, will be blogging more about our ministry. So stay tuned!
