I just wanted to let everyone know that a young girl in the community we're living in here in Cambodia passed away on Sunday evening. She was 7 years old and drowned in a pond by her house while trying to save her sister from drowning. By the time they were able to find her body in the water, she had been under at least 20-30 minutes. A few of us Racers were here, but myself and others were out at a waterfall…so when we got back an hour or so later we heard the news. Sri Po was a precious little girl that meant a lot to me. My heart was broken when I found out it was her. My heart is also broken for her family. We attended the funeral Monday and were able to pray over her and her family. They are Buddhist They are having another memorial service for her tomorrow which we will be a part of. Please pray for her family as they are mourning in this time of loss and for us as we are here for the community in this time. I know we are here at this time for a reason and we are a light in the darkness. We believe that God is going to use this tragedy for good and we are hoping that it will open doors for healing, peace, comfort and trust in Him to be found.
