Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! I just wanted to hop on and share some really exciting news.
First, there have been some ministry changes that I am so excited about. Unfortunately, due to a COVID outbreak the Nepal team is no longer able to go on their trip. However, that means that some of them are joining us! Nine of us will be serving in Guatemala. This also makes for a really exciting ministry change. Rather than serving in Parramos, we are pairing with Orphan Prevention Community in Lake Atitlán. I am over the moon to be pairing with this ministry! Next, I am officially fully funded!! I am so speechless. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to the trip. My dreams are coming true!
Finally, I launch in 30 DAYS! What?!?! I am counting down the seconds. A lot of you have been asking what else you can do to support me, and the main thing I need right now is lots and lots of prayer! Please pray for God to work in me and through me. Pray that I have a heart to serve, to change, and to love recklessly. Pray that He is preparing me for whatever is thrown my way. PRAYER IS ACTION! And it would mean so much if you would just be praying over me!
Today I read 1Thessalonians. One verse that really stuck out to me is 1 Thessalonians 5:24 “The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.”
As I prepare for this adventure, I am reminded of His faithfulness. He has led me everywhere that He has called me, and He is not stopping any time soon! There has been a beautiful lesson within every unexpected change or bump in the road. I am so thankful for a God who keeps His promises. Oh how He loves us!!!!!
