Or as I like to call it: "The week that will completely change your life, and never want you to hold back your love for the Lord again".
If you have read my previous blogs, you should know that I am trying not to have expectations about this whole journey.
Well, I am glad that I did not.
This last week completely wrecked my life, and in the way that made me regretful.

Regretful that I was too comfortable worshiping my God.
Regretful that I was scared to raise my hands in celebration on certain songs at church.
Regretful to yell AMEN to the preacher whenever he says something that stirs my heart.
Regretful that I was afraid to start praying out loud during a song.

Now I know that I have a deeper meaning of what true worship is.
I now never want to hold myself back, because of what others might think of me.

This past week not only opened my eyes to worship, it opened my eyes to the next year of my life.
Foods.
Culture.
Traveling.
Living.
"Family".

Foods for example.
We had a different country every day.
Some were good, some were this.

We called this Fish Head Soup.
Let's just say Asia day was not my favorite day.

I finally got to find out my family for the year.
God answered my prayers and exceeded them like crazy.

Starting from left to right,
We have the wonderful Tyler Lee.
He is the most generous person that you would meet, and when you look at him, you can clearly see he has a heart for the Lord.
There is then JoeBeard and his wife Abby Beard.
As soon as I found out there was a married couple coming on the race, I prayed almost everyday that God would pair us up. Even though I didn't know them at the time, I knew that I wanted a strong Christian couple to look up to whenever I was not with my parents. Who would have thought that we would have hit it off. (At least I thought so!) I am beyond excited that God stuck them with me!
Next to Abby, we have the beautiful Diane LaCour.
We hit it off the first day when they made us run, and we chose to power walk and talk. Come to find out, this girl can dance! I am stoked to see what God has in plan for her.
After me, there is the wonderful Cassie Baxter. It makes me happy to see that there will be another curly haired girl on my team! She is going to be doing amazing things this next year, and I am honored to be a witness to it.
Finally, there is Adam Smith. He will be our team leader, and I am glad that God chose him to be in charge, because I know that he is going to use him at this time in such wonderful ways that I could not even imagine. And, the dude can dance.

This will be my family for possibly the next year.
I ask that you not only pray for me, but pray for them as well.
Because one, they are going to be stuck with me!
And two, we will be with each other through thick and thin, and soon enough, my story will soon become our story.
