What the World Race is.
Its an 11 Month Missions Trip where I will travel to 11 countries.
Each month I’ll travel to a new country to spread the gospel and help those in need.
The World Race is through a Non-Profit Christian Organization called Adventures in Missions (AIM).

Where will I be going? What will I be doing?
Through the 11 months I will be traveling through these 11 countries:
Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Indonesia, Philipines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Moldova, Ukraine and Latvia.
I really won’t know what I’m doing until I arrive in each country and meet my hostess.
We could be doing labor work while building houses or churches.
When my friend Terin went she had to hammer boulders until it was gravel.
We could be going into orphanages or schools.
Helping the sex-trafficked, widows, homeless, hungry and hurting people.
Or we could be doing door to door ministry, speaking in churches or just loving on people in the community.
I won’t know what I’m going to be doing but I know God will be in every part of it.But you can find out along the way by subscribing to my page above!

Why I decided to go on the world race.
Starting from the very beginning.
When I was little I was very sick. I never understood why God would put me through this pain.
My dad was always telling me he wasn’t sure why I was going through it but he knew it was for a reason.
That maybe it was so that one day I would be able to help someone who was going through something similar.
This is what kept me pushing on.
My dad told me God gave him a vision that I was going to do great things. I wasn’t sure at the time if I believed him but again it kept me going.
Just thought of knowing God loved me and had great things for my life.
Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,’declares the lord,’ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
They found out I was having photosynthetic seizures but in 2009 I was taken off all my medicines.
Now, Jumping forward a little to about 5 or 6 years ago.
When my friend Terin went on this journey called the World Race and I was so intrigued.
I followed her throughout her trip and just kept thinking how I would love to be able to do something like this. However, I never thought I’d be able to.
Following her blogs, pictures and videos really inspired me.
After that I thought about applying for the World Race multiple times but never followed through with it.
The last time it came to mind, I decided there was a reason behind it and God was calling me to this.
So I applied, but first I asked God to close the door and not to be accepted if it wasn’t his plan.
Well…. I obviously was accepted and began my fundraising and preparation journey.
When I told my Dad he wasn’t to thrilled of the idea of me leaving for 11 months. But hey he’s the one who said God had big plans for me, right?
He did eventually say God gave him peace over me going, which truly released a lot of stress on my end.
But here I am only a couple thousand left to go out of the $17,XXX I need to be able to go on this trip and only 1 1/2 weeks left till I leave.
I don’t feel like I would have been able to get this far on fundraising if it wasn’t Gods plan for me.
I truly believe His hand is upon me and guiding me along this amazing journey.

What I plan to take from this trip.
I have a huge heart for people and love helping them, especially in their time of need.
My heart aches for those hurting.
I have a huge heart for sex-trafficked women and do hope to get a chance to go and help them.
I also have a heart for children and would love to be able to go help in orphanages.
I’m looking forward to just dancing and playing in the street with the kids (don’t be surprised if I come home with a couple haha just kidding, but I totally would love to).
I’m truly just looking forward to loving on people and showing them the love of God and teaching them the gospel.
Also through this journey I desire a deeper relationship with God.
To grow and see God not only change and impact the people we encounter but also those on my squad and myself.

How you can help.
Prayers are always needed and appreciated.
Prayers for fundraising, safety, peace over everything and to trust and look to God in every situation.
This trip is not cheap, so any and every donation is appreciated.
A year is a long time to go on 5 outfits. I’ll probably have to purchase new ones at some point and other expenses while gone.
If you would like to help with those kind of expenses while I’m gone, that also is very appreciated.
Also my mom will be able to transfer any donations to my account while I’m away. You can contact her at [email protected]
If you would like to write me letters to open while I’m gone please feel free to. I’m sure at some point i’ll need the little extra encouragement.

Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

So now I go…..

Thank you all so much for taking a minute to hear about my journey. I would also like to thank you all for the love, support, prayers and partnering with me on this journey.
