A Thousand Feelings a Picture Doesn’t Hold.

I wish there was a better way of explaining this feeling: the feeling I get when sitting here alone reading my bible and I hear the joyful chuckles of children playing in the background some miles away and the sweet sound of birds chirping and fellow teammates laughing together in times of fellowship.

I wish I could explain this overwhelming peace resting on my shoulders as I stare out over a banister on the roof and look out to everything around me. So many things are so familiar but others so different. It’s a different life, a different world where I’m at but then again it’s not.

We’re all here, not here in the exact same place but kinda. We all are united and so many don’t even know it. United, yes that’s what I said and I meant it too. Because we are. We are united in our Creator. We are united by Him being the artist of us all- through the love and grace He has freely given each and every one of us!

Now, all of us Americans grew up saying the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. Do you remember that part that says, “… one nation under God, indivisble, with liberty and justice for all”.

What about the bigger pledge? The one where all nations are united under God. I love where I come from and the same God that created that place is the one who created this one. Guys, the love God has for each and every person in each and every nation is a real thing. We have all sinned in some way but Jesus paid the price for that and when we receive Christ as our savior and follow Him in this world, He promises eternal life.

I wish I could explain this feeling I have for the countries I’ve been to, the things I have experienced and the love I have for my brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

I wish I could share this peace and love from the father I feel each day sitting in His presence.

I can take pictures that may be worth a thousand words but they also hold a thousand feelings that are so unexplainable. There is only one way to feel these feelings I feel right now and that’s by building a relationship with the father. Then, allow Him to take you out of your comfort zones and into places you may have never dreamt of before. Places you thought were going to be too hard or in areas you don’t feel “equipped for” but God will equip you.

I think every day about how I wish I could share the full experience that I’m having on this journey with you but the only way I can do that is to encourage you to step into your own relationship with the father. Not into religion but into relationship because without relationship you have nothing. The joy and the peace come from finding a friend and a father in our Lord. I promise He will take you to the most beautiful areas in life you didn’t know were even possible.

So, I encourage you today to push into that relationship with the Father and accept all He has for you, even when it’s hard. Pictures are only worth a thousand words and not a thousand feelings! I’m not saying God will take you across the world but He might. The things He can do in your life are far beyond words, whether that is across the world or in your hometown. God is moving and if you sit with Him and listen, I know you’ll find those feelings that go beyond the picture. I pray you press in and find those pictures you can look at and not only see the words but the feelings and emotions in them from your own experience.

I love you all and thank you for all you do!
Love Paxtyn 🙂
