       It’s Easter weekend and I’m in Malaysia – living my greatest dream, and pondering the most amazing gift that has ever been given to mankind – a gift that has lead me on this crazy journey. I know there are people who have followed our blog and supported our trip who don’t really understand why we’re on this World Race. My heart is full of joy to know how much you care regardless of what you believe. This blog is for you.


Dear friend,
 
       I want to tell you about a gift; a gift that has completely altered the path of my life and a gift that has given me purpose, hope, love and comfort. It’s a gift that is being held with outstretched hands for everybody, everywhere.

Easter weekend is the remembrance of Jesus’ crucifixion on the cross and the celebration of His resurrection from the grave. God sent his son – Jesus – to die on a cross for our sins; for all the crap that we’ve done wrong, all the mistakes we’ve made, the people we’ve hurt, the things we’ve said. God – is the creator, our Father and He loves us, He forgives us.

He knew that we’d mess up over and over again, so He made the greatest sacrifice of all to show that we are cleansed, we are made new because of Jesus’ blood. He knew you before you were born, and he loved you so much that he nailed HIS SON to a cross.

God extends an invitation to humanity, to have a personal relationship with Him and to have eternal life. A life with Jesus is indescribable. He gives you your every breath, He gives you LIFE. He will heal you, protect you, comfort you; He will provide truth, peace and rest.

Do you need a friend who will always be by your side? Who will understand your every thought and feeling, who will accept you just the way you are? Do you need a lover? Who will pursue you passionately, love you unconditionally? Do you need a father? Who will guide you, who will give you wisdom?

God is offering an incredible gift. He is holding it with an outstretched hand waiting for you to accept, waiting for you to say yes. God loves you right where you are. He cares for you, and He’s waiting to be a part of your life.

Consider his gift this Easter. I promise you it’s life-changing. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved (Romans 10:9). That’s all you need to do…believe. Believe what God did for YOU, believe that Jesus died and rose again. For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).
