i thought i should let you know about the roads down here in southern mexico, they are crazy. you can be driving on a four lane interstate and all of the sudden you find yourself on a one and a half lane road behind juan valdeez with his donkey and cart full of coffee beans. but at least there is a speed bump every 30 yards to remind you that your car has bad shocks, but the best part is how at night everyone drives with there brights on and your completely blind for at least 10 seconds, but hey god is good and will take care of us.
oh and where we are staying things are different from matamoros, the village only gets water from 5am to noon and 5pm to 8pm, and we have to take bucket showers, cold bucket showers. but other then that things are great, well there also is no toilet seats either, but im not on a vacation, and this is still a pleasure to serve god. its good to hear from all of you, and mom tell the your class that knowing that they are cheering us on motivates me to do better and we will do our best next time to win. today was really cool, the team split up and walked through this small town that has a church plant in it, we invited people to an open air church service. we also got invited to quite a few homes for coke and to just talk, i think they were just excited to have americans in their homes.
we were able to pray for quite a few people and it was really cool to see how powerful our prayer was even though the people couldnt understand what we were saying. also during the day i was able to make about 20 new friends my handing out dum dums. those kids really loved those suckers, kids are so open to really anything so they were really easy to please most of them came to the church service where they play duck duck goose.
please pray for my team as we have to figure out what other ministries we are going to do this next week. i love you all and am praying for you, i hope you all back home are serving god and loving every minute of it. stay classy planet earth
in him
paul
