Growing up in Iowa, one of the familiar and my favorite sites is seeing the farmers out in their fields harvesting their crops. Im not sure but i think that one of the greatest things about work is the end. When your done and you can just sit back and look at what you have accomplished. This year has been very
difficult at times. We have been in many muslim countries so its expected that doing ministry would be difficult. Spreading the Gospel especially, however we have left the barren fields for ones that are ripe for harvest. The people of kenya are very ready and willing to hear and to accept the Gospel. Pastor Mike one of the pastors of a local church in the area where we are working, told us that the people are so poor and they have such a bad life, that they are desperate for some good news. Well that is awesome, when you are coming to tell and give them good news. Just the other day on our way to door to door evangelism, one of the pastors going with us stopped and started talking to a woman on the side of the road. Within 10 minutes of the pastor and Gary talking to her she prayed to recieve Christ. Then during our door to door time 4 or 5 more prayed to recieve Christ. All i can say after an experience like this is Praise God, and i cant wait for tomorrow. Please be in prayer for us, first of all, in thanks to God for bringing us here, to a place that is so eager to hear the gospel. and then pray that we will not become weary in preaching the gospel, that we will be bold as we share the gospel with others, and that we wont lack opportunity to tell others the gospel. thank you for your prayers and as always, stay classey planet earth.
in Him
