Hey everyone, sorry i havn’t blogged in awhile. The first thing to tell you is that we have not gone on like the other groups, we have stayed here as there is much to do in this small town. Eugene was ok with us staying so we have decided to remain and do as much for the Lord as we can. The Lord has in fact given us many things to do and many opportunities. The other day was possibly our most productive day yet. We were invited to an english class in the local high school. there were about 60 students and we were able to talk to them and answer their questions. But most importantly we were able to share with them a little about easter and the true meaning of easter, that Jesus died and rose again. Afterwards the teacher invited us to dinner and we obviously accepted. he took us out to a local restaurant where we enjoyed watching him and his young son eat the head and talons of the chicken mm mm good. after dinner he asked if he could continue to talk with me so i invited him to my hotel room. There we talked about many things, but i was able to ask him about his religion, and share with him the gospel using christmas. Some other people had come to his school and told him a little about christmas. I had him read john 3:16, it was quite the experience, after he read the verse he paused for a moment and said that he didnt realize that Jesus had died for everyone, he thought that it was only a western religion and that Jesus had only died for the westerners. but the word of God told him the truth, and now a seed is planted in him, hopefully i will have another opportunity to speak with him and i can only pray that he will ask more questions. Please pray for him and his family, and please continue to pray for the many students who have really latched onto us. And please praise God for bringing into our lives a few chinese people who speak english. I love you all and thank you again for your support, your prayers are being heard and answered. keep stayin classy planet earth.
