I’m from Iowa, 25, and my current career includes making plastic parts, shoveling snow, and being a missionary. I’m a Smallville fan. I watch Smallville a lot. I’m a Hawkeye’s fan. Go hawks! Before I got saved I was stealing blocks from the nursery in church. But then by the grace of God at age 6, I was rescued. I grew up in a Christian home. Church and youth group were a big part of my life. I went to a Bible college where it took me forever to graduate.
I joined World Race because I want to take advantage of every opportunity God gives me. This is an opportunity for me to focus on God rather than my frivolous things that I spend time on that really aren’t important. In this trip, there really are no frills. There’s only one thing. The Gospel. That’s all we’ll focus on.
I love all of you back home. I miss you. I feel like you’re all with me, supporting me on this trip. Thank you. I’ll be praying for you.
