During the first 4 days of Unsung Heroes we explored the city that we were in and we went to a Christian owned cafe and we had brunch there, While there we ran into to a 2 people who went to a local church that has and English speaking church. So we decided to go find in later that day. While we were there we ran into Arsen who owns a bar, and he offered us all of free shots later that night, but before we were going to leave he offered us all shots at that time, I personally do not drink so I told him that I would take a shot of coke. After we were done talking one of our team members felt that that she needed to pray for something physical with him but he would not say what, so we prayed for him after we left. We were invited back for Disco Funk later that night, it was a great time and the food was really good.
I Also had another racer who just finished up their Unsung Heroes and asked if we needed some leads, and we sent a few e-mails to the contacts that the last team did not get a chance to Reach out to, and our team has been talking to them
At the church we meet several different contacts some that AIM has already talked to and a few new leads that we are going to follow up with. The worship was amazing at the church and I could fell the presence of the Holy Spirt in there, it was also interesting to hear worship in a different language. Also the Pastor offered us logging for with in our budget and the location will also have wi-fi, so that means more facebook posts, we might be staying there once we go back to Tirana
On the day before we left to Vlore we all decided to pray as a team about it, each of us got something different but they are were about going down south to Vlore. It was only 700 lek or $5.5 usd (per person) for a mini bus (like a taxi but for more people) ride to Vlore, about 2 hours south.
God is showing that while we may not see what the path will lead to he is showing us the steps that he wants us to take to get there.
