During the first week of our second month we had the chance to go to Greece for the first time in Word Race history. A few days prior to leaving for Greece I sent a message to a guy that is part of the Assemblies of God (church that I go to back home, they got Churches all over the world) and he said I should talk to Mike long. So I sent him an e-mail but I did not get a reply. So I figured that I was a bad e-mail and to look for more when I got time in Greece.

The first two days there we had adventure days so the first one we went to a town that had a beach to explore and had the chance to explore a second beach where there was less people and it looked a little more natural. After we got back several people were feeling sick. The Holy Spirt told me to have a night of prayer for protection on the squad and healing of the team members.   On the second day we had the chance to go to rent a boat but they were all taken by the time we got there. So we just hung out at the beach.

During the 3 days that we had ministry the members of the squad that were there had the chance to pick what they wanted to do. Me and 4 of the girls picked Unsung Heroes, the other options were sports, and prayer walks around the town. We decided to get some food and then to pray. We all got different pictures so we decided to go along the pier and look for the person who we were to meet. We did not find him on the pier, so I was thinking that we should go to Starbucks, then someone else said the same thing. So we go into Starbucks and we find the guy who I emailed sitting there having a coffee. So I give him the vision of the World Race and he agrees to meet with us the next day to talk a little more.

So the following day we meet up with Mike Log and we talk about the race a little more and what opportunities he would have for the race. He has a lot of options such as; reaching out to the college students, ministering to the refugees who are passing though Greece, meeting people where they are at, Gypsy ministry, and more. He also has room for a full squad to come in. He needs to go to a different city to talk with a guy for a bike project he is working on and invites us with him.

The big day came and we got in his car a drove south a little bit. On our way we got to see the top of Mount Olympus behind another monition. The fist town we got to we went to an old Jewish building. Over 900 Jews were trapped in there when Hitler was trying to kill all of the Jews. The pastor across the street opens his doors to the people who come to see it to use the bathroom, and share Jesus with them.

After we were done there we went to another city to meet another missionary who was getting old. He has a beautiful piece of land that has figs, hazelnuts, grapes and honey. So he shares some of the figs and grapes and we eat the hazelnuts off the ground. He also orders us all pizzas and gets some coke as well. He has us all share our stories but before I can start we need to go ( it was like 3 hours or so that we were there). This place has places to hang hammocks that have a roof over the top, and floor space that is also covered and is outside. The Pastor ministers to the Gypsies that live in the area around where he lives.
