Let’s get down to talking about business cards. Yep something that has not been done by any other racer to my knowledge (yes I stalk the blog page and I have not seen it done). If you are going to go one the races in 2014 or are thinking about getting cards you should. They are easy to pass out and they give people all the info they need to support you in one simple place. Yesterday I helped a Lady from my church move and I got to tell her friend a little about my trip and she said she would like to support me. I did not have a card with me so I wrote down my blog address on the back of my chick-fil-a receipt and gave it to her. Now I plan to always have some with me to pass out.
I will give you 5 reasons to get them for your World Race right now.
1. If you are going to meet with your pastor the card is an easy way for him to follow you on your race.
2. You talk to your work friends about your trip and you want an easy way for them to know what you will be doing.
3. They are great to pass out at fundraisers.
4. When taking to your boss about this you can just give them a card to direct them to your blog.
5. They are cheap and easy to make, several places will do it for you and give you a wide variety of options to customize them.
As for an update with my fundraising it is going very good so far after some checks clear I will a little over $6,200.
