I came into training camp with such skeptisism it’s not even funny! I had so many preconceptions of the people I was about to meet and fear in my heart of totally letting go. The first day of training camp I really heard God say to me, “LET GO!”. Let go of all those preconceptions, expectations, and fear. It was one of the hardest things i’ve ever had to do! In my head i’m telling myself, “You are strong enough to do this on your own. You have to be a man and hold onto this rock solid composure. And that’s when I had to choose God over everything else. At that moment, my hands shot in the air and I started screaming out His name in worship. It’s a feeling I’ve never felt before. I felt freedom. I felt no more fear. It was as if God had reached inside me and taken all those preconceptions, expectations, and fear and thrown them out the window. With my hands lifted to Him in praise, I felt the wind of the Holy Spirit pass over me. It was like the final blow, I felt comfort and peace like no other.
