Just a few quick updates: I am about half way funded for my trip so far and I still have several months to go before everything is due! God has been really faithful in providing, even when I doubted at times. I am graduating high school in LESS than 2 weeks! Everyone, God is real!!! I’m very excited and very ready for this trip. I expect so much from God during these 9 months and years after. This was just a quick update and then a short blog post to go with it as well.
These past several months God has continued to provide for this trip and just show me why he wants me to go. Each day it seems I find out something new about Gods’ heart. Each day I understand a little more as to why I’m doing all this. Each day this trip becomes closer and closer and the excitement builds more and more. It amazes me how far God has brought me. Each one of these things reminds me why: Why give all this money away? Why I would push college back a year? Why I would travel around the world to people I’ve never met just to share the gospel? Jesus. He is the reason I’m giving up my life for something greater than myself. He is the only reason that this makes sense. I hope that this would encourage anyone struggling with the terrifying question “what do I want to do with my life?”. Whether you’re just getting out of high school or your just about to retire, you have a decision to make: what are you going to do with your life? Time to decide.
