Hi I’m Paul. I am 17 years old, I live near Chicago Illinois, I’m a senior in high school, and I am a few short months away from the World Race. For those who do not know what the World Race Gap year is, it is a 9-month mission trip through 3 different countries where my team and I will be working as missionaries. Just recently, I felt like God was telling me to go and I cannot be more excited for this coming year. Our team is traveling to Ecuador, India, and Zambia. We will be partnering with local churches and missionaries to serve the impoverished communities around them. After I heard that more than 2 billion people in the world have never heard of Jesus, I knew I couldn’t stay put any longer. We as Christians should not be able to live the same way knowing people die every day without knowing our wonderful Savior. I am SO incredibly excited for what God will do with my team and I this next year. Here are just a few interesting facts about me:
1) I love Jesus SO incredibly much!
2) Meat is my favorite food. Yes, meat (don’t judge).
3) I love doing anything and everything outdoors.
4) I have been on two mission trips outside the country (Nicaragua and Bolivia).
5) I desire to serve everyone and hopefully become a missionary.
6) My Squad is the BEST out there.
