This blog is first and foremost dedicated to my squad mates who only have until June 20th to reach the $7,500 mark. More on that at the end. Let’s get some cheat codes!
I’ve been working at a Chick-fil-a since last October and here are some insider tips on what you can order “not on the menu”.
**Keep in mind you need to have patience because you’ll be ordering things that are not commonly ordered.
>Okay, everybody LOVES the Avocado Lime Ranch dressing on their salad, but have you had the Avocado Lime Ranch and the Berry Balsamic mixed together? Yeah, you should try it! Just ask for one of each next time. **Side note, you can ask for these (or any salad dressing) and a small bowl to mix them in together with ANY order. Try it on your nuggets next time, I dare you 🙂
>Any kind of salad on the menu can be made into a wrap at ‘no extra cost’. This may vary by location, but just order a Grilled Wrap and add whatever salad ‘toppings’ you want. Want bacon on your wrap? Great! Order it, just make sure they ring it up as the ‘salad type’ bacon (then it doesn’t cost extra). Same with the other ‘toppings’. My favorite is the Market Salad in a Wrap. **Only do this when the Chick-fil-a (CFA) is not busy, and it will take about 7-10 minutes.
>Most people know this one, but if you want a regular CFA or Spicy sandwich made ‘fresh’ ask for it to have any of the following: no pickles, extra pickles, no butter, or well done. *Note: ‘Well done’ means we put the fillet back in the fryer for 45 seconds. Same with ‘well done’ fries.
>You can get a Grilled Spicy Sandwich (and Deluxe). Just ask for ‘switch meat’ when you order it. They will tell you it will take longer, typically a 5-7 minute wait time. **Only do this when the CFA is not busy.
>You can also get a Grilled Chicken Biscuit or a Grilled Spicy Chicken Biscuit (during breakfast hours). Again, when you order just say ‘switch meat’. The Grilled Spicy Chicken Biscuit is the spiciest CFA offers. **Wait time of 5-7 minutes.
>Now, about milkshakes… Milkshakes!?! YES!!! … You’ll have to wait until part two comes out (the blue berry milk shake is back? What!?!). How do we get to the second part?? Well, my family needs your help getting to their $7,500 mark by June 20th. If we get a good response and people leave good feedback I’ll post the second installment, milk shakes.
