I sincerely appreciate you creating the groundswell of support that I will need to carry me through this project, but now I need to call on continued support. I have three more weeks until my first monetary deadline for the trip and just under $2000 more to raise before that date!
The World Race requires enough donations to pay for travel expenses by the following dates, in order to maintain my spot on the trip:
- $3,000 – Due 9/27/2014 (2 weeks before Training Camp)
- $6,500 – Due 12/18/2014 (2 weeks prior to your trip)
- $9,500 – Due 4/1/2015 (End of 3 months on the field)
- $13,500.00 + $742.60 (*Insurance) = $14,242.60 – Total Due 7/1/2015 (End of 6 months on the field)
I believe that I have been called to this trip for a reason. I believe that love can overcome monetary constraints. I believe that providing food to the hungry, providing healing to the sick, providing peace to the suffering, providing hope for the longing, and providing freedom to the oppressed is worth the investment. I believe we can build a better world together.
The numbers appear overwhelming, but are entirely possible.
- If 10 superheroes give $100 monthly, the trip is paid.
- If 20 leaders donate $50 monthly, the trip will be paid in full.
- If 50 friends donate $20 monthly, the trip will be paid outright.
- If half of my Facebook friends give $10 monthly, the trip will be paid.
- If every member of FUMC-Lewisville donates $4 once, the trip is paid.
