Every year, more resolutions are broken than maintained. Especially the ones that begin with “I am going to…” and end with “…for the rest of this year.” A year is a long time to hold to a commitment. It becomes painfully drawn out when that new obligation is something you’re not used to. And it’s an eternity to continue a novel habit that brings nothing but the promise of “long-term results” to your life.

So I won’t make any resolutions. I’ll make a lifestyle change instead. I will focus my life on helping others. This will not be a commitment for this year or some obligation for me to strive for. Instead it will be a new life that begins today.

It begins with a new way to donate to this World Race project and a way to help provide for future projects in years to come. Please visit www.patrickboothcharities.org, to see the newly registered 501(c)3 that has been setup with the sole purpose of helping struggling communities overseas.
