It brings me much excitement to introduce to the world, my new family who I will be living with for the next year… Team Transformers! I feel very blessed to be apart of such a great group of new friends. Our personalities mix so well together and we have such a need to have a good time wherever we‘re at. Experiences from our past and our “spontaneous” lifestyles really bring us together in a unique way. There are 6 of us, 4 amazing women of God, and 2 ridiculously good looking men. Like my former team, (Team JOY) we’re sure to have multiple team members from the great state of Texas! Funny eh!?! Our team leader is Kyla from Michigan, who is an incredible servant and loving friend. Then there is my new favorite Texan gal, Alex, who is from the Dallas area. She has been blessed to play the part of the team mother over the next year. Even tho my 2 other teammates aren’t from TX, I won’t treat them any different. Helen from Georgia and Sara from Missouri, are 2 great assets to the team as well. They’re both so easy to get along with and have smiles that brighten their surroundings. Last but not least, is my new partner in crime, Daniel from Colorado. He is the youngster of the bunch who keeps us on our toes with his fun antics and random statements. We decided to call ourselves Team Transformers not only because we all love the movie, but because we believe with all our hearts that God has called our generation to transform the world for His glory with the many gifts He has given us.
“Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
I am very thankful to the Lord and to AIM’s staff for assembling us as a team and for their belief in our work. Please be in prayer for my new team and I as we prepare for an incredible adventure around the world. We will be sure to update everyone with fun, mind blowing stories of how God is working in other parts of the world. Thanks!
