Hmmm…So much of what I believe in is based on what I have seen or can see. The Easter bunny…FALSE! Pirates… SCIENTIFIC FACT! UFOs…BOGUSSSS. Texas being the greatest state in all the land!…YOU CANT EVEN ARGUE! I mean come on, if you don’t agree with this then I will fight you! Okay maybe I wont fight you. But like I said, so many things are easy to believe in because you either see them or you don’t. Doesn’t leave a whole lot of room to debate when facts speak for themselves. Then there is FAITH. Its trust. Being loyal and devoted. Believing what you cant see. Not always the mindset of your everyday American. These days we get so caught up in the science of everything. There HAS to be an explanation for everything and it has to be given to me now and be crystal clear. Enough of everybody else tho. You clicked on this blog cause you wanna know what I think. Here goes…
We’ll start simple. I believe in God. I believe he is the creator of EVERYTHING. I believe He is around us everywhere we go no matter how much we think we can run and hide from Him. I believe in John 3:16 with all my heart and man am I thankful for that! I believe that we are ALL sinners and fall short of His glory. I believe that God and God alone can judge me. I believe that all my past and future sins are forgiven because Jesus Christ loves me enough to take one for the team. His team. A team I am very glad to be on. I believe in His greatest commandment to love Him with all your heart, mind, and soul. I believe that we were made to love everyone around us, even when we don’t feel like its possible. I believe if you truly accept Jesus as your own personal savior that you actively pursuing Him everyday of your life. I believe prayer is your strongest tool against evil.

I believe, though I will not say in person, that I talk a big game. I believe that I cant do jack without God’s help. That one may bother me the most, since I love telling myself that I do anything on my own. As many of you know, I’m still working on grasping that one. I believe as a follower of Christ, that all your beliefs should come from the Bible. I believe we as a society or that religions have sometimes created “imaginary checklists” of what a Christian should look like and do. I believe in the true words of Andrew Shearman when he says, “rise up man of God!’ as he punches me in the gut. I believe that I am one of many of His warriors and that I WILL change the world.! HOORAH!!! I believe miracles still happen just as they did back in JC’s day. I believe The Holy Spirit is what fills that emptiness inside all of us, not being materialistic or boastful. I believe I don’t have all the answers or solutions, but He has and always will provide everything I need. I believe Jesus is cooler than Sinatra, Elvis, and James Dean put together. I believe I’m old and my fingers hurt, so I’m going to PAUSE for now. Feel free to hit me up for more of what I think if you dare.
