Do you ever feel like you are just hanging on? Hanging. Waiting. Wondering how you are going to get down to the ground. Who’s going to help you out? Who’s going to give you a lift? Who’s going to provide what you need?
I constantly feel this tug of war going inside of me. When I graduated college I remember not wanting to work for a certain organization because I knew I would have to fund raise for money for the rest of my life. WELL… I ended up right where I didn’t want to be but right where God wanted me to be… FUNDRAISING! HAHA! God is so funny.
The crazy thing is that I know deep down that God is my provider but I still wake up in the morning with that OH NO I still need money to do whatever God is calling me to feeling. I often start to worry about provisions and then quickly I am reminded why am I worrying? AHHHH… why am I worrying?
The question is not whether or not God is going to provide. The question is WHO is God going to use to provide? God has told me he is going to provide the $5,000 I need for this trip, but who is he going to use to do so? IS IT YOU?
All I can ask of you is to pray. Sit be still for a second and ask the Lord what and how much he is calling you to share financially with me to build the Kingdom of God.
