This morning I woke up with a still small voice saying that He will act. This isn't the first time this has happened on this journey, and to tell you the truth I love these moments! I love hearing that small leading of Gods spirit. I mean its so amazing that He would talk with me, He cares for me personally!
I really didn't know where that phrase was located in his word, so after I got out of bed I did a quick search and found it in psalm 37:5. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. This verse spoke a truth that I needed to hear this morning, and hopefully it is encouraging to you as well.
As time has been flying by on this trip, I find myself wondering what I will be doing 6 months from now when I find myself back in Wisconsin. I have plans, but often times I have felt unsure if those plans were really of the Lord or just my own thinking. In the Psalm God says its ok to plan just commit those plans unto him and he will act. The Bible has nothing against planning. In fact we see God following a plan, Jesus following a plan, and also the apostles planning and acting. The key is that those plans are committed to the Lord, and if he desires to change the plans we can trust it is for the best.

These are some of the neighbors that I met this morning!
Last night we arrived in the small town of Chang Loon, Malaysia. We are staying in the home of a local pastor and his wife with their family of three. The city is very small and has a large number of Muslims living in it. Throughout the day today I could hear prayers being projected around the streets. The gospel is not looked at very positively here; in fact you can go to prison without trial for openly preaching in the streets. I don't know what it is, but when I hear that I cant preach it just puts a fire in me to speak all the more! Don't worry mom I wont do anything crazy!
Please pray for Gods Sprit to really lead my team and I this month. Pray that he would bring new believers and those hungry for him into the fellowship we will be having in the pastors house. Pray the children we are working with will come to know Jesus and will raise up to be a new generation belonging to Christ!
