It was about a month ago… and I saw this
After hearing about the World Race through a friend (and now fellow racer), I was curious. I had no plans after graduation, no jobs lined up, no graduate school applications submitted. I was waiting , but for what, I wasn’t sure. It was only after a series of “Ok God, I get it” moments that I convinced myself to apply.
The application process was invasive and intimate. Sitting down at the computer and looking at the screen of boxes marked “Present struggle” had me doubting whether they would even look at my responses or just throw it out all together.
It’s often that we wonder how God could use a person like us for His Kingdom, but a quick read through the Good Book will show you a similar (if not more colorful) rap sheet of some of God greatest apostles, prophets, and champions.
I think that’s how the enemy keeps us from stepping into our calling. That’s how I looked at it at least, and so I hit submit and the rest was history (well, a month’s history).
I am the newest member of B Squad and I couldn’t be more excited to start this journey! God has called me into a grand adventure which will send me across the world to 11 countries in 11 months. Everything is so new and fresh it’s a challenge to keep everything in order, but I will say that I am excited to see God move in incredible ways!
