This morning I attented New Life
Fellowship of Churches in Phnom Penh.  This was posted on the front
page of the weekly bulletin.

“I believe …..”

I believe Cambodia is at a unique time in its history-a time never before experienced since the begining of time.
I believe the Cambodian people have been prepared in a unique way to recieve the Gospel.
I believe  the Cambodian people are
looking for hope, for truth and for power that can change their lives.
The harvest is ripe, but more laborers trained up in Cambodia are
needed.
I believe  that no matter where you are in the world you can be part of changing peoples lives and eternal destines in Cambodia.
I believe Jesus is the hope of Cambodia and as Cambodians come into relationship withthe living God they wil be changed forever.
I believe the Gospel is the power of God
for the salvation for Cambodia, and no matter how entrenched one is in
idol worship, tradition, false beliefs, drugs, gambling of habitual
sins, Jesus can set you free.
I believe  the church in Cambodia is
called to overcome the gates of hell and the influence that the enemy
has had on Cambodia for thousands of years.
I believe the church in Cambodia is to
be te salt and light to the community, not band of outcasts in a corner
of a village trying to survive until Jesus comes.
I believe the church in Cambodia is to be influential and noticeable in this country of less than 2% Christians.
I believe numerous strong local churches should exist in every province.
I believe Cambodia will send missionaries to other Southeast Asian nations.
With all my heart I believe this is the time for Cambodia.

May we be reminded we are part of the church.  The church of
Christ Jesus, which encompasses every nation, evey language, every
culture, every tribe and every generation. May the persevernce and
faithfulness of believers around the world encourage and strengthed
your faith, as it has mine own faith.
