Hi Everyone!

Welcome to my blog!

Pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable, cause I’m preparing to tell you a LONG story!  I don’t know what will happen in this story, but God is the Author, so it will be good.  He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  🙂

Our story begins in North Carolina.  I’m pondering what meager scraps of belongings I can carry with me when January comes and I fly with my team to Africa.  I just came home from the Holy Land, where I had most of the Western comforts.  I was there four months, teaching English, feeding African refugees, and sharing the Hope of Jesus with people from several different nations.  It was amazing.  And today I got a BIG surprise!  My pastor from Jerusalem and his family are passing through my city!  I can’t wait to see them again!

My friend told me about the World Race in April.  So after praying about it…and praying about it…and praying…and thinking of how I’ll have to give up being with my family and some major comforts for eleven months…I decided to go.
From January to December, my team will go to Africa, Central America, and Asia.

So this is my story!  Thanks for listening!  It may start slowly, but with eleven poor countries, a backpack, and a tent in my near future–and I’m no camper–it will definitely pick up momentum.  I’ll keep you posted!
