On this the eleventh of a three-hundred-thirty-four-day mission trip, I wanted to let you know that there are some very practical ways you can help! 🙂

First, I’m looking for places to buy Bibles here (we gave out nine so far!:) I found some for sale, but for a pretty penny in this desperate town. Giving Bibles is one big reason I came on the World Race; my team and I get our hands into all kinds of ministry, but “Bible drops” are my passion. That way, the Gospel is deposited beyond a 10-minute conversation I might have with someone. So far, five homeless men have eagerly received them, three women at the park, and a thirteen-year-old Gabrielle. Would you help me with a $25 donation for Bibles?

A general idea for the rest of my needs: a pair of flip-flops, bug spray, more malaria meds, etc. I’m very low on my personal funds right now and as I’ll be gone for 11 months, I’m asking for $11 donations to cover these costs.

“Fun days” are not a necessity, but if anyone would like to contribute to this, I would be able to have outings with my team-mates on Sundays. This would be like $40 or $50 per month, depending on the activity we choose.

So how can I receive money for this? Through Paypal! If you go to your Paypal account, you can enter my email ( [email protected] ). Enter the amount you want to give, then click “gift” beneath that. And that’s it! If you don’t have Paypal, you can send a check to me personally. Just email me for the address, please. 🙂

Thank you so much for considering this!! It would really make a big difference!
