please take the time to check out their awesome blogs. i am truly blessed to be a part of this family. we chose our team name for several reasons: the hebrew word ‘corban’ is found in mark 7:11 and means ‘gift dedicated to God’; our team leader is mark; we are a team of seven traveling for 11 months. plus, we all find slurpies quite tasty.
we are off to our first ministry site, ratchaburi – a province in central thailand close to the thai-burmese border. a plethora of ministry opportunities are available to my team. we will be hosted by the ministry of YWAM ratchaburi and they are mainly focused on the youth, building relationships with them through teaching english and running camps (english camps, sports camps, music camps etc). other ministry opportunities include going to a local orphanage, serving the local churches and evangelism in the nearby villages.
we are very excited to venture out and see all the ways God will use us to bring His kingdom glory. please pray that we will be loving, bold, courageous, united, humble servants, beakons of light. ALL for His glory.
