Hi y’all! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!! I wanted to write a little blog to update you on my progress, fundraisers, and some things that God is teaching me right now!
So, the past few months have been very revealing. I have found that fundraising is NOT easy, y’all. Although, I have been so blessed with such generous donations and I could not be more thankful. I even received a $1,200 scholarship from the Lindsey Lee Memorial Fund! God is SO good!
I recently began my first two fundraisers; selling t-shirts and sending out my support letters! They have been going so well and I am so thankful for everyone who has helped me get them going! Here is the link to purchase my t-shirts:
Throughout the fundraising process so far I have learned so much, although there are two big things that God has shown me. The first being how truly generous people are! It is so crazy how my friends and family, and even strangers, have been so giving and supportive! The second thing I have learned is that feeling the support of your community is possibly the best feeling in the world. Knowing that the people I love most fully support me makes my heart OVERFLOW with joy and gratitude! My sweet friends have been so great, whether it be by simply expressing their excitement for me or praying with me, feeling their support is awesome. My whole family has had my back from the start and I am so thankful that God blessed me with the most loving home.
