meet my teamies!
skylar- the mom. always knows how to answer my stupid questions, like where i put my lunch when i misplace it. always so intetntional. tickles my back and braids my hair since i dont know how. i know she has my back and is there for me when i need her, or when anyone needs her. takes care of others before herself. no seriously, a. mom. and im so lucky that god placed her on my team.
evelyn- so, so wise. beat abraham at checkers, (dont know how she did that, because that man is good at checkers.) so sweet, knows how to take care of people and loves them well. shes someone that i could listen to forever because of her stories and jokes. this team would not be the same wihtout her so im so incredibly happy that she was able to come.
ana- someone i love talking to and spending time with. even if we’re not talking, just sittng in the same bunk bed and watching seperate movies is fun. thankful for her because she shares her snacks with me. so caring towards everyone and wants everyone to feel loved. she always does things with a positive attitude. im so glad i get to call someone as great as her my sister.
midge- so joyful. whenever shes around it just makes my mood 10 times better. one of the funniest people i’ve ever met, (plus i love her accent). such a bright smile. when i hear her laugh it just makes me want to laugh too. shes not afraid to be who she is and i love that about her. if you ever get the chance to meet her then you’re lucky because shes one of the best people i know.
may- loves every person she meets so well and makes them feel loved. always brings a smile to my face when she’s around. im glad shes on my team because whenever i get lazy she says, “stop taking a nap and come play”. there’s never a dull moment when im with her. gives the best hugs. shes so strong and i know god is gonna use her to do great things. i am seriously blessed to have a friend like her to walk through life with me.
charlie- a listening ear. always has the right things to say. so funny and always knows how to make me laugh. shes so creative, uses her words so well. she has a beautiful mind. someone i’ll go to if i wanna have a deep conversation. but also someone i’ll go to if i wanna act goofy. or as she says, “silly”. another person that is so intentional. i cant wait to see how she continues to grow and change throughout this season, because i know shes already growing. im so lucky to have her on my team. thanks god.
brittany- the best team leader. was kinda scared because she wasn’t the leader we had at training camp, but now i cant imagine the team without her. makes every single one of us feel so loved and heard. is a great leader, but is also a great friend. i cant wait to get to know her better throughout this season, and i’m so happy that she got placed onto my team.
