before i left i was not excited for guate. i really only wanted to go to africa and thailand, but now i am so so grateful for this place and guate will always have a special place in my heart. this country holds some of the most incredible people you will ever meet and God is already doing big things here, and when we leave He’s going to continue to move. im so grateful for this experience and i will have memories from here that i will never forget. i’ll never forget the warmth, the chicken bus rides, the kindness and inviting spirit that so many people here hold in their hearts. volcanoes and vibrant colors. praying in hospitals and laughing with our friends from the old folks home. walking around new parts of parramos and witnessing God heal an arm. saying hi to yolanda as we walk to church. playing soccer in the dark. activation days that terrified me, but at the end of the day ended up being some of the best days ever. a staff that has the love of the Lord in them so they could pour out that love onto us. pool days filled with so much laughter. refuge worship nights. yellow flowers, green trees and dancing in the rain. thank you guatemala for all the memories and for all the growth ive had within myself. guatemala is a place of so much joy and peace. im so so thankful for the 3 months god has given me here. its been so amazing. thank you guatemala, i cant wait to see what other ways God will continue to move in this beautiful country.
