There are so many words I have not said.

Words

that probably would have stuck

with a person and made them see

their life in a different way.

Words that would have built someone

up on the worst of their days.

Words that would have redefined

my own definition of love.

Words that would have broken chains

in my very own heart exhausting them

in conversations towards someone else.

Words that challenged or created a space.

Enabled or stopped.

Healed or helped.

Words that were meant for me to say,

but I never did.
