Do you ever read a Bible verse and have to take a second? You feel like “Wow. That one really hit me hard.” You sit back in your chair just staring at the verse and thanking God for putting it in front of your eyes.

Well this happens to me all the time! The most recent was last night at Junkyard youth group. We were going through some favorite verses from our sponsors and Proverbs 16:9 was one that came up. The verse says “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

I bet I reread this verse tens times in those few minutes just sitting in awe of how much I loved and related to it.

I’ve had many crazy plans like going out of the country by myself with people who were practically strangers for the very first time when I was only 16 to going to Uganda the very next summer and now to going on the Race. All of these things sound crazy at first for someone who hasn’t even graduated high school, but the plan was in my heart and the Lord established my steps.

This goes from how the Lord has blessed my steps through fundraising and the amazing success you all have given me. It also goes to the Lord putting amazing sales in front of my eyes when looking for gear. And to the start of establishing relationships with all of my teammates.

I am so thankful for all God has done to help establish the steps to the plan in my heart. I can’t say it enough to Him and everyone else who have supported me!

Thanks for reading this short, simple one! I hope you find a verse that jumps out like Proverbs 16:9 did to me yesterday.

If you do find one or already have one, I encourage you to throw it down in the comments for others to read. Don’t be afraid to because you never know if someone else is looking for a verse like yours! I can’t wait to read through them!

With Love,

Paige
