In this blog, I want to introduce you to my AMAZING leadership team! I get to journey and lead with these great disciples of God daily to help disciple, train, and grow Gap C in their walks with the Lord and a life in missions. The Lord really blessed this team with deep unity, comfort, and care for one another. And I want to share a few things about each one of them with you along with a picture of them! Also if you feel led to support or follow their blogs
Our Squad Mentor: Kate Goeler
She is a woman who strives to walk in alignment with the Father’s heart daily and what the Lord has planned for her. She speaks everything out of love and a desire for you to feel the love of Jesus. Since knowing her (since around April 2019), she has walked and helped me journey with God to grow deeper to Him and be a better disciple. I am so thankful that Kate is a trustworthy mentor in my life.
Our Coaches: They are like the elders of the church who bring deep wisdom from their walks with the Lord.
Shaun and Colleen
They show what a true marriage looks like with God as the foundation. Their love for one another and God shines through every time I see them in person. They will bring new perspectives and deep prayer to each and every single one of these Racers who choose into a relationship with them.
Our Squad Leaders: They are with the Racers all nine months walking beside them daily
He is a man of God who walks in wisdom from the Lord. He ponders before he speaks so what he says is truthful and helpful. He is silly and fun and loves to sit down to have deep, meaningful conversations. He will be a great leader for these Racers and continually turn them back to the Bible to build their strong foundation on the Lord.
A true woman of joy from the Lord. I’ve only known Brook for the past few months (just met in person two weeks ago) and I already feel so closely connected and loved by her. She is an encourager and a listener when you are hiking a trail or journeying with the Lord. She will be a person who shines light on the good in situations for these Racers.
Our Alumni Team Leaders: We’ll be with the Racers for their time in Georgia to disciple a team and help them transition to a new lifestyle.
She deeply desires encounters with the Lord daily. She chooses into prayer and worship every time she has the opportunity. Anna wants to connect in a special way with each of her teammates to show how much she cares for them. She will show her teammates how to choose into the Lord each and everyday.
He is a son of God who has learned a lot the past few years and deeply desires to share it with others. The intimacy he has with our Father is something people aspire to have at some point in the lives. He is intentional and wants everyone to receive the best he has, never wanting to only give half of his effort. He will teach the men how to freely give what we have freely received.
She is a woman of truth and honesty. The intentional conversations and interactions she has with each and everyone of her teammates is so beautiful to see. She cares so deeply for them and wants to pour into them like her alumni poured into her. She will teach Racers that the cost of discipleship is worth it.
He is a true man of God who walks with the love of Jesus wherever he goes. He cares deeply for the people around him. Nathan shows how to love others well and the respect a man of God should have for woman. He is going to teach the men how to walk in true respect for themselves and others.
She desires intentional time with the Lord and knows the importance of receiving rest from the Father. She loves tender moments, finds joy in the little things, and remembers to laugh daily. Her devotion to the Lord is something everyone can learn from. She will teach her teammates how to be intentional with Father first and then with their friendships.
There ya have it!! That’s my leadership team! We can’t wait to see how God works through this squad!
