I want to see the world. I want to experience different cultures and see the characteristics of God uniquely displayed in each one.

I have been called to love on kids who have never been loved before.
To hold kids who have never been held or told they are beautiful.
To rock kids who have never been rocked or had sweet lullabies sung over them.
To laugh with kids who have never had a reason to smile.

I have been called to fill the world with the sound of children’s voices
rising up above the evil and despair,
rising above the hurt and pain, the darkness and loneliness
Rising above it with laughter and shrieks of delight because the love and joy of Jesus is leaking out of them.

I have been called to fill the earth with the sound of children singing songs of praise to their King and Savior.

I have been called to instill in them the knowledge that even if they don’t have parents, their Father in heaven loves them so much that it is going to be okay.

I have been called to be there for them.

To love them and help them find families – whatever that looks like.

I see them in my dreams; these children that I have been called to help.

This is my heart, this is why I am going on the Race.

I am passionate about the nations and I am passionate about children. I long to see them come to know their Father in heaven. I have much to learn and see and I am so excited about it. As believers we are all called to care for the poor, the orphaned and the widow. This is how I have been called to do just that.

Will you help me get there?

Will you pray for my team and I? Will you consider supporting me financially? Will you hold me accountable to preparing for these eleven months? Will you encourage me along the way?

If so, comment below, subscribe to my blog, email me, or give me a call!

I’d love to hear from you.
