Romans 15:5-6
May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Living closely with a team of strangers that are soon the become family will not always be the easiest thing to do. But as we all prepare and get ready for the adventure of spreading His name to the nations, this is my prayer for us. That we may, through the Lord’s strength, live in such harmony that even our friendship is a testament to those around us that we are trying to reach for the gospel.
Those of you who are reading this and not going with us, we need you just as much as we will need each other. Will you pray with us and for us? That the Lord would be working on our hearts as we prepare, and that we would be open and willing to follow His leading wherever that may be.
My family, my friends, and my teammates, I could not and would not be doing this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
