Phew. A lot has gone since last Sunday when I arrived in The Middle of Nowhere, Georgia for the WR training camp. I wish I could go into detail about all the crazy things that have gone on but alas, I only have 10 minutes to write this post….Oh the realities of third world internet restrictions (nice practical test, huh?).

Yesterday, we found out our individual team of 6 that we will be working with for the entire 11 months. We had the opportunity to get to know each other and get a glimpse into what the next year is going to be like. We went out for ice cream (and as we sat indulging in the goodness that we haven't been able to enjoy for the past 6 days), we were able to get to know one another on a deeper level. Wow. The caliber of people that have been placed in this situation is amazing. You would only believe it if you saw it.

I'm thankful for the team that has been placed before me. I think of it almost in a college freshman mentality- I might never have come across these people in any other situation but in this particular life stage, it's going to work. Timing is everything.
