Suddenly, my life is all about numbers.
For someone who isn't all that comfortable with numbers, this is stressful. I don't do countdowns. Or math. Or accounting. These are not concepts in my comfort zone. But these things, the numbers and the stress, they are teaching me a lesson- a lesson in faith. That is a concept I can get behind.
I have less than three weeks to meet my deadline. I'm nervous, really, how could I not be? But I'm having faith and deciding to play the numbers game myself. So here's a little word problem I thought of myself:
On December 7th I will be turning 24 years old.
In order to leave January 10th I need $2,000. The deadline is Dec 18th.
If I have 80 people give me a gift of $24, I'll meet my deadline.
$24×80 people= The WORLD RACE
So help me crunch the numbers and beat the odds. By Dec. 18th, donate $24.
