What power we have with God on our side. He is fighting every battle we face. He is usually unseen, and sometimes goes unnoticed. But He is there. Always there.
There is nothing in life that is a guarantee. Nothing in life you can count on. Except Him.
I am leaving in 20ish days to travel around the world. I am not sure what is out there waiting for me. All I know is that I don't go alone. I go with the God of the universe. The all might One.
I am not afraid. I have been given all the confidence to go forward. I can not promise I will not get sick on this trip. I probably will. I can not promise that I will not get hurt. I probably will. I can not promise I will always be safe. I probably wont. But what I do know is that I go in compete confidence that my God will take care of me. He has seen the way, He knows the events that will take place this year. And he is providing, right now, the way. He has already put in place the doctors to care for me if I do get sick. He has provided the people and the places before I have even left the United States, in the case of an emergency.
This is the confidence I go forward in.
"Shall I look to the mountains gods for help? No! My help is from Jehovah who made the mountains! And the heavens too! He will never let me stumble, slip or fall. For he is always watching, never sleeping. Jehovah himself is caring for you! He is your defender. He protects you day and night. He keeps you from all evil, and preserves your life. He keeps his eye upon you as you come and go, and always guards you."
