“VLOG”:

On April 10, 2016 I was given the opportunity to present my first “sermon” of sorts at my grandfather’s church, First Baptist Church of Elsey. Though small in number, this church is filled with individuals who are passionate in their pursuit of bringing the Kingdom to where we are now. Grateful for their support in allowing me to come and speak and their overwhelming generosity both financially and in prayer. I’ve made this video which is some variation of the message I presented to their church:

First Baptist Church of Elsey is one of four church groups who have generously provided me with financial support. The other three being Lenexa Baptist Church, Fresh Start Church of God and Christian Home Fellowship. 3/4 churches I have never been a member of and 2/4 I’ve never stepped foot into. Thank you for being the church to me so that I may be the church to others.

UPDATES:

  • I’M OVER 50% FUNDED. Thank you thank you thank you. I’m well ahead of schedule and making strides towards my second deadline of $10,000 by July 22, which will secure my spot to be able to launch in August.

 

  • I’ve been immunized; receiving shots for Yellow Fever and Japanese Encephalitis and pills for Typhoid and Malaria.

 

  • I’ve bought almost all my gear! 

 

  • Training Camp in t-minus 36 days! I will attend training camp June 8-18 in Gainesville, GA. Be keeping this time in prayer as my squad gathers for the first time together.

 

  • 96 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH. Launch will take place the first weekend in August.

 

  • If you are a participant in the adopt-a-jar fundraiser, please make sure to either return the jar to me, or send to me/make an online donation of the amount in the jar (if not local), prior to July 22! 

 

  • I still have medium and large t-shirts for sale! Thank you to all those who bought shirts, I was able to raise over $1,000 in t-shirt sales alone!
