We are coming to a close here in Quito and it has been sweet. Sweet in meeting not just the members from Cru ( Derek, Bri, and Sean) but also the students who are leading their campus to an encounter with Christ. Working out last day with team Fiercely Loved at building a wall around a safe house for young girls (12-18) who have been saved from sex trafficking.
But now we go on a new adventure, country, and ministry. This month we are in Peru; where exactly we’ll be I’m not to sure. We will be in the district of Rio Tambo though.
So the nitty gritty what are we doing! This is what we’ve been told that we might do. We’ve been warned that in Peru things can change within a couple hours so we’ll see what actually happens. But we could be helping on building an orphanage in the mornings when the sun is still down, having a Xmas outreach for the kids, working with the widows (having business 101 classes so that they can learn how to manage a small independent business, working with one of their bible school in training the indigenous students so that they can reach the tribes that we can’t, and last but not least is evangelism. We have the honoring opportunity to be able to stay with a village for one week.
I will also me making more videos this month! From our first day here so many opportunities of stories to share have been shown.
Great news 4 of my teammates are fully funded!! Being able to see how God has provided for them is as beautiful as any revelation revealed by him; rejoicing with them. That being said I am now just under $6,000 to raise! About $5,861 to go!!!
God is good in this waiting process. It is at times worrisome but God always comes and eases my soul saying that he will provide. Its scary, but he’s got it all figured out.
So thats it:) I’ve been told that wifi isn’t looking so good in the jungle so I’ll try to keep you all updated as much as possible:)
Mes 3: Perú
Estamos llegando a su fin aquí en Quito y ha sido dulce. Es dulce reunirse no solo con los miembros de Cru (Derek, Bri y Sean) sino también con los estudiantes que llevan a su campus a un encuentro con Cristo. Trabajar el último día con el equipo Fiercely Loved en la construcción de un muro alrededor de una casa segura para niñas (12-18) que se han salvado del tráfico sexual.
Pero ahora vamos en una nueva aventura, país y ministerio. Este mes estamos en Perú; donde exactamente estaremos no estoy seguro. Estaremos en el distrito de Río Tambo sin embargo.
Así que, ¿qué estamos haciendo? Esto es lo que nos han dicho que podríamos hacer. Nos han advertido que en Perú las cosas pueden cambiar en un par de horas, así que veremos lo que realmente sucede. Pero podríamos estar ayudando en la construcción de un orfanato por las mañanas cuando el sol todavía está bajo, teniendo un alcance de Navidad para los niños, trabajando con las viudas (teniendo clases de negocios 101 para que puedan aprender cómo administrar un pequeño negocio independiente, trabajando con una de sus escuelas bíblicas capacitando a los estudiantes indígenas para que puedan llegar a las tribus que no podemos, y por último, pero no menos importante, el evangelismo. Tenemos la oportunidad honorable de poder quedarnos en una aldea durante una semana.

Dios es bueno en este proceso de espera. A veces es preocupante, pero Dios siempre viene y alivia mi alma diciendo que proveerá. Da miedo, pero lo tiene todo resuelto.
