Kevin is a 12 year old boy from the Ashanika tribe. He never knew his father (no one knows who he is) and his mother died when he was a little. Taken in by different Christian homes Kevin was sexually abused. Finally being rescued he now has a new family. A mother, younger sister, and now a new baby brother.
His mother Eugenia is a 37 year old widow who’s husband died as a result of the terrorism that takes place in the jungles of Peru. Gorila groups and the government fight one another and it’s the indigenous groups who are caught in the cross fire. She has a daughter named Andrea who is 7 years old. Eugenia is one of the woman who will help lead a new orphanage that is being build it Cubatia.
Daniel Salomon is the new addition to this family. Like Kevin’s story no one knows who is father is and his mother died in childbirth. Daniel is a beautiful 5 month old baby who was born pre-mature. The Ashanika government (the indigos groups have their own government) found Eugenia and the ministry she is with and brought Daniel to them.
This is a family that has been born through hurt and pain but together they are forming something beautiful.
Kevin es un niño de 12 años de la tribu Ashanika. Nunca conoció a su padre (nadie sabe quién es) y su madre murió cuando él era pequeño. Tomados en diferentes hogares cristianos, Kevin fue abusado sexualmente. Finalmente siendo rescatado él ahora tiene una nueva familia. Una madre, hermana menor, y ahora un nuevo hermanito.
Su madre Eugenia es una viuda de 37 años cuyo esposo murió a consecuencia del terrorismo que tiene lugar en las selvas del Perú. Los grupos gorila y el gobierno luchan entre sí y son los grupos indígenas los que quedan atrapados en el fuego cruzado. Ella tiene una hija llamada Andrea que tiene 7 años. Eugenia es una de las mujeres que ayudará a dirigir un nuevo orfanato que se está construyendo en Cubatia.
Daniel Salomon es la nueva incorporación a esta familia. Al igual que la historia de Kevin, nadie sabe quién es el padre y su madre murió en el parto. Daniel es un hermoso bebé de 5 meses que nació prematuro. El gobierno de Ashanika (los grupos índigos tienen su propio gobierno) encontró a Eugenia y al ministerio con el que ella está y les trajo a Daniel.
Esta es una familia que ha nacido a través del dolor y el dolor, pero juntos están formando algo hermoso.
