Argentina quikly has become a new home for me. I have fallen for the country but so much more with the people; to be exact our host family.
This month we are working with a ministry called Adulam meaning refuge. This is a coulpe that fights for the bettering of children who live in the strees and are in unsafe/unhealthy places.
We are living in an old school converted into a temporary homestead. In the morning we make breakfast and do chores around the house clean, feed/water the animals, garden, etc and then after teamtime and a snack we go do construction. We are helping build their new home. A family of 11 they survive off what they grow and what the Lord provides.
Each and every one of them have given us their hearts and welcomed us not only into their homes but also into their lives. My heart aches knowing that we lost four days with them because of transportation and now only having a week left with them.
A family with a heart of gold.
Argentina quikly se ha convertido en un nuevo hogar para mí. Me he enamorado del país pero mucho más con la gente; Para ser exactos nuestra familia anfitriona.
Este mes estamos trabajando con un ministerio llamado Adulam que significa refugio. Este es un coulpe que lucha por mejorar a los niños que viven en la calle y se encuentran en lugares inseguros / insalubres.
Vivimos en una vieja escuela convertida en una granja temporal. Por la mañana hacemos el desayuno y hacemos tareas en la casa, limpiamos, alimentamos / regamos a los animales, al jardín, etc., y luego, después del tiempo en equipo, y un bocadillo, hacemos la construcción. Estamos ayudando a construir su nuevo hogar. Una familia de 11 personas sobreviven de lo que crecen y de lo que el Señor provee.
Todos y cada uno de ellos nos han dado sus corazones y nos han recibido no solo en sus hogares sino también en sus vidas. Me duele el corazón saber que perdimos cuatro días con ellos debido al transporte y ahora solo me queda una semana con ellos.
Una familia con un corazón de oro.
